It wasn't to be for our Claremont-Nedlands - 1s, who were denied by Gosnells - 1s away from home.
Gosnells - 1s batted first and put 8/222 on the board from 50 overs. The hosts' best was a half-century from Savar Deeplaul, who made 71. Rufus Zampatti picked up three for 30 off six overs.
In reply, we finished on 166 from 43.4 overs. Sean Thompson made a valuable 35 off 72 balls. Lochie Hardy played a handy knock of 33. Connor Southam claimed four for 43 for our opponents.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the side will keep at it.
Well played to the hosts.
