In 1. Senior Male action, our Claremont-Nedlands - 3s went down to Wanneroo - 3s on a tough day.
Batting first, we posted 5/231 from 45 overs. Saif Malek posted a half-century, making 83 off 103 balls with six fours. Arun Tibballs's 71 off 79 balls was a half-century to remember. Rory King weighed in with 41 off 60 balls.
Wanneroo - 3s reached the target at 4/232 in 31.2 overs. Credit to Wynand Basson, who made a half-century (66) for our opponents. Donavinn Fryer posted 55 not out for the hosts, a stylish fifty.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
