It was a tough day out for our Claremont-Nedlands - 2s, who were unable to stop Joondalup - 2s in 1. Senior Male.
Over the course of the match we totalled 146, and Joondalup - 2s 9/323 and 2/31. Harry Saunders played a classy hand of 32 off 80 balls. Credit to Harman Sekhon, who claimed a six-wicket haul (six for 53) for our opponents.
With the ball, Arun Tibballs did the damage, claiming three for 48 off sixteen overs. Joshua Hendry made a good 82 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century. Daniel Corry posted 63 for our opponents, a fine fifty.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
