It was a satisfying day for our Claremont-Nedlands - 3s, who won against Joondalup - 3s at Melvista Oval.
We posted 10/243 and 0/101, while Joondalup - 3s made 10/147 and 8/159. Taylor Hannah made a cracking 66 off 120 balls, a well-made fifty. Saif Malek passed fifty on the way to 53 not out off 33 balls with seven fours and one six. The visitors' best with the ball was Kye Richards (three for 13).
A five-wicket haul to Liam Gollan, who finished with five for 58 off fifteen overs. Lachlan Cox made a fine 55 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
A well-deserved victory for the side.
Well done to everyone involved.
