Good news from our Claremont-Nedlands (PT20), who had the measure of Joondalup (PT20) with a good team effort.
Our total of 7/247 from 20 overs left Joondalup (PT20) needing 248 to win. Nicholas Hobson's 130 off 52 balls was a century to savour. Luke Gollan weighed in with 37 off 23 balls.
Our bowlers kept our opponents to 4/226 from 20 overs in reply. Jaron Morgan made a classy 70 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. Lewis Morrell made a useful 46 for our opponents.
The runs on the board proved more than enough. Congratulations to the boys on a cracking result.
