It wasn't to be for our Claremont-Nedlands - 4s, who came up short against Rockingham-Mandurah - 4s on a tough day.
The side batted first and reached 7/193 from 45 overs. Harry Eastman posted a good hundred, making 111 off 106 balls. Joel Marion bowled well for Rockingham-Mandurah - 4s, taking three for 26.
In reply, the visitors passed our total, finishing on 4/194 in 44.4 overs. Brendon Diamanti posted 76 not out for our opponents, a classy fifty. Eastman grabbed two for 28.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
