It was a satisfying day for our Claremont-Nedlands (PT20), who beat Wanneroo (PT20) thanks to Lochie Hardy's 66.
Wanneroo (PT20) batted first and were all out for 107 in 18.1 overs. Stuart Van der merwe posted 58 for our opponents, a polished fifty. With the ball, Rufus Zampatti did the damage, claiming three for 11 off four overs.
In reply, the side reached the target at 3/108 in 15 overs. Lochie Hardy made a superb 66 off 41 balls, a well-made fifty. Joel Whelan was still there at the end on 21 off 27 balls.
It was a terrific all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That's back-to-back wins for the team. That has us second on the ladder. Congratulations to all involved.
