There was no joy for our Claremont-Nedlands - 4s, who lost their match against Mount Lawley - 4s in a disappointing result.
We batted first and finished with 9/160 on the board from 45 overs. William Nicholls passed fifty on the way to 54 off 58 balls with three fours and two sixes. Harry Clarke contributed 26 off 78 balls. Tyron Dias returned four for 27 for Mount Lawley - 4s.
Our opponents reached the target at 4/161 in 37.4 overs. Credit to Joshua Zelesco, who made a half-century (67) for the hosts. Liam Gollan was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 11 off six overs.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
