It was one to learn from for our Claremont-Nedlands - 4s, who were bested by Melville - 4s on a day to learn from.
Our innings: 149. Melville - 4s': 6/181. Griffin Polglaze brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 50 off 146 balls. Harry Clarke made 23 off 63 balls.
Nicholas Richmond grabbed three for 37. There were also wickets for Polglaze (two for 38). Mitchell Brookes passed fifty for the visitors, finishing with 83.
There were some quality individual efforts to build on. A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end. On to the next one.
