It was a disappointing outing for our Claremont-Nedlands - 1s, who were bested by Joondalup - 1s on a tough day.
Our totals were 188, against Joondalup - 1s' 8/212. Angus King was still there at the end on 48 off 99 balls. Sean Thompson made 44 off 109 balls. A five-wicket haul to Joe Inglis for our opponents (five for 35).
Rory King bowled nicely to finish with three for 57. Credit to Jaron Morgan, who made a half-century (60) for the visitors.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
The results haven't gone our way lately, but the side will keep at it. Chins up, everyone.
